Silamabarasan TR fans have much to look forward to in the time ahead as the multi-talented actor has a number of interesting projects lined up among which includes the highly-anticipated Maanaadu, being directed by Venkat Prabhu. With a majority of the filming already wrapped and important scenes featuring large crowds recently being shot featuring Simbu and heroine Kalyani Priyadarshan, producer Suresh Kamatchi, who is producing the upcoming mass masala political entertainer, announced on social media on Thursday that the film's dubbing has officially begun.

Maanaadu is easily one of the most-awaited films in recent times as it features a flamboyant Simbu, with the teaser released in February leaving many contemplating it to be revolving around the concept of time travel. In the meantime, director Venkat Prabhu on Twitter Spaces interacted with a few fans and shared his answers to their queries, while informing that Maanaadu has shaped up well and that the team has tried to do something new. Speaking about comparisons with director Christopher Nolan's Tenet, Venkat Prabhu stated that there is no connection with the Hollywood blockbuster and that they have tried to do a new genre with Maanaadu. He further added that the film will be getting a bigger reach with Silambarasan as it being made on a grand scale and would probably not have happened had it been made with his frequent collaborators like Jai or Shiva. Listen to Venkat Prabhu speaking about Maanaadu and STR below:

Apart from STR, Maanaadu includes a multi-star cast featuring names like SJ Suryah, Karunakaran, Premgi Amaren, Manoj Bharathiraja, Daniel Annie Pope, Y. Gee. Mahendra and veteran directors SA Chandrasekhar and Bharathiraja in pivotal roles.
