Director Selvaraghavan recently witnessed the release of his long delayed horror thriller, Nenjam Marappathillai which received a good response from the fans. Following the release of the film, Selvaraghavan has now moved on to his next film, which is Naane Varuven. The film will have Selvaraghavan's younger brother and actor Dhanush playing the lead role and it is going to be an exciting watch. Even before the commencement of the shoot, the film has already got phenomenal expectations among the fans for the mere reason of the exciting combination of Dhanush and Selvaraghavan. Whenever the duo has collaborated, the final product has always been fantastic and the audience has loved it.

After working together in movies like Kaadhal Konden, Pudhupettai, and Mayakkam Enna, Dhanush and Selvaraghavan will be teaming up for the fourth time with Naane Varuven. The film will be bankrolled by veteran Tamil producer, Kalaippuli S Thanu under the banner of V Creations. The film's first look poster had created a huge buzz on social media and the wacky and intriguingly designed posters garnered wide attention of the netizens. Earlier today (March 30), director Selvaraghavan took to his official Twitter page to share an update regarding the film and it has now excited the fans. Selvaraghavan mentioned that the pre production works of Naane Varuven is happening on a never before seen scale and added that the shoot is set to begin soon.

Selvaraghavan's tweet read, "Never worked on a preproduction of this scale ! Gearing up for the shoot ! #Naanevaruven". It looks like Selvaraghavan is making sure everything is planned perfectly before the shoot and the update has received a positive feedback from the fans. The shooting of Naane Varuven will begin in the next few months, once Dhanush is back in the country. Dhanush is currently in the USA, busily shooting for his next Hollywood project, The Gray Man, starring Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling in the lead roles.

Naane Varuven will have music scored by ace composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, while the cinematography will be handled by Arvind Krishna. Selvaraghavan - Yuvan - Arvind Krishna are a proven blockbuster combo and the magical trio is once again back together for Naane Varuven.
