Dhanush's blockbuster hit, Karnan is gearing up for its OTT release and according to the latest reports, the film is expected to release on May 14 on Amazon Prime Video platform. Meanwhile, the makers have now released the much awaited video song of the viral hit song, 'Kandaa Vara Sollunga'. Karnan starts off with this song and it prepared you for a super intense ride and this song had a fantastic reception at the theatres. The visuals of this song looked intriguing and it was beautifully cut by editor Selva RK. This song also leads us to the introduction of Dhanush's character in the film. Director Mari Selvaraj's conviction over his filmmaking craft is very much evident with the video song of 'Kandaa Vara Sollunga' and it is a treat for the fans.

Composed by Santhosh Narayanan, 'Kandaa Vara Sollunga' song is crooned by Kidakuzhi Mariyammal with lyrics penned by director Mari Selvaraj. The highlight of this song is the soulful rendition of Kidakuzhi Mariyammal who produced magic with her voice. The video song of 'Kandaa Vara Sollunga' has been released on the official YouTube channel of Think Music who owns the film's audio rights.

Karnan featured popular Malayalam actress Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead, while Lal, Natty, Yogi Babu, Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli, Gouri Kishan, and others played supporting roles. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under the banner of V Creations, Karnan had cinematography handled by Theni Eswar. Dhanush's highly impactful performance as Karnan was one of the major positives of the film, while Mari Selvaraj's effective packaging, Santhosh Narayanan's intense music were the other highlights.

The blockbuster duo of Dhanush and director Mari Selvaraj will be teaming up once again for a new Tamil film which is expected to go on floors once both of them finish their current set of commitments.
