Today (May 19) is the birth anniversary of late comedian Vadivel Balaji and fans across the world are sharing their special tribute videos on social media. Vadivel Balaji who rose to fame through Vijay TV's Kalakka Povathu Yaaru and Adhu Idhu Yedhu shows, died on September 10, 2020, and his demise came as a big shocker for the entire state of Tamil Nadu. He was just 45 years old when he breathed his last. Balaji suffered a cardiac arrest and faced several other health complications following that. Vadivel Balaji was always known to be someone who encourages young and fresh talents. He was a unique talent who was loved unanimously by all.

Marking his birth anniversary today, Cook with Comali sensation Pugazh took to his official Instagram page to pen a heartfelt note. Sharing his throwback picture with Vadivel Balaji, Pugazh wrote, "Happy birthday mama😘😘😘Epavum nee enkodathan irupa💪🏻Makkala ennaikum santhoshama vaikananum nu ne asa pattatha na niraivethuvan mama miss u😘😘😘". Pugazh's post is loosely translated in English as, "Happy Birthday Mama. You will always be there with me. I will fulfill your dream of wanting to keep the people happy and entertained. Miss you".

The post has made everyone emotional and has gone viral among the fans. Pugazh was very close with Vadivel Balaji and we saw him in uncontrollable tears in Balaji's funeral event. Vadivel Balaji was one of the first people to encourage Pugazh in his early days of Vijay TV.

Pugazh, who has earned a huge fan base through the show Cook with Comali, is now one of the most sought after actors in Tamil cinema. He will be acting in an important role in Arun Vijay's untitled next with director Hari. Details regarding his role are yet to be known. Pugazh is also acting in Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi's next with director Ponram, which is tentatively called VJS46. The film is produced by Sun Pictures. Pugazh's first big release in Tamil cinema will be the Santhanam starrer, Sabhaapathy in which he will play the role of a comedian.
