Thalli Pogathey is an upcoming Tamil romantic drama that features Atharvaa Murali, Anupama Parameswaran and VIP fame Amitash Pradhan in the lead roles. The film is directed by R Kannan who has earlier made films like Jayam Kondan, Kanden Kadhalai, Ivan Thanthiran, etc. Thalli Pogathey is the official Tamil remake of Nani - Nivetha Thomas starrer Ninnu Kori that was directed by Shiva Nirvana. The film was a big hit at the box office and we will have to wait and see how Thalli Pogathey is received by the Tamil audience. The makers have now released the trailer of the film which looks quite good. Atharvaa looks natural and it is good to see him in an emotional romantic drama after a long time. He scores well in this trailer and let us wish that this film turns out to be a memorable outing for him.

Anupama Parameswaran is back to Tamil cinema after 4 years of her debut film, Kodi. Anupama looks pretty and the entire film revolves around her character. Having said that, we will have to see how she has delivered. Amitash Pradhan shows good promise in this trailer. However, one has to admit that the trailer doesn’t completely engage you throughout and it could’ve been packed even more crispier. The trailer was released by music director Anirudh Ravichander who wished the team for the grand success of the film.

Produced by R Kannan's Masala Pix in association with MKRP Productions, Thalli Pogathey features Aadukalam Naren and Kaali Venkat. The film has music scored by Gopi Sundar, while the cinematography and editing are taken care of by N Shanmuga Sundaram and Selva RK respectively. Kabilan Vairamuthu has penned the film's lyrics and dialogues. The makers are currently busy with the final leg of post production works and we can expect an announcement regarding the release very soon. We will have to wait for a few more weeks to know if the film will have a direct OTT release or wait for a proper theatrical release.
