Telugu superstar Allu Arjun is on cloud 9 post the blockbuster box office and critical success of his last film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, a rom-com family entertainer, directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film released earlier this year as a Sankranthi treat drew families to theatres in numbers until the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown shut down cinema halls' operations around the country. Around the time of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's release, it was announced that Allu Arjun along with his father Allu Aravind would be jointly launching a new OTT streaming platform called Aha, which has since been gaining a lot of leverage as promotions have been carried out in an active manner.

In that light, Allu Arjun, who is currently filming for his upcoming film Pushpa opposite Rashmika Mandanna under Sukumar’s direction, once again teamed up recently with Trivikram Srinivas and composer S. Thaman and this time for a promo video for Aha OTT, in which we see Telugu cinema's 'Stylish Star' talk about the streaming app. The new Aha promo video has Ayananka Bose serving as the director of photography, Naveen Nooli for the editing, with Avinash Kolla for the art direction. The Aha app is available on Play Store (for Android users) and iTunes Store (for Apple users) and has been released for public viewing already. The app has been receiving a huge response from fans as many big programmes, Telugu web series shows and films are being premiered. The Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Seerat Kapoor starrer Maa Vintha Gaadha Vinuma premiered as a Diwali special on Aha, with the streaming app also showing South Indian sensation Samantha Akkineni hosting a show called Sam Jam.

Aha has been launched by Allu Aravind and Allu Arjun in association with My Home Rameshwar Rao. It is to be noted that they entered into the world of streaming through a new company called ‘Arha Media & Broadcasting Private Limited’, which has been named after Allu Arjun’s daughter. The app is also streaming the films that have been produced by Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts banner, while the inclusion of new content is being made with each passing day. The Telugu dubbed versions of a few Tamil films as well are on Aha such as Khaidi (Kaithi), Pencil (Pencil), Raghuvaran B Tech (Velai Illa Pattathari), Mariyan (Maryan), etc.
