The first visuals from Super Deluxe, the upcoming Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Akkineni starrer was unveiled last week in the form of a short teaser. The teaser, which focused on Samantha’s character, Vaembu, has been praised by fans across social networking forums for not revealing much about her character, but also raising enough curiosity. Being directed by Aaranya Kaandam fame Thiagarajan Kumararaja under the Tyler Durden and Kinofist banner, Super Deluxe will see Vijay Sethupathi as the character Shilpa in a transgender get-up.

Initially titled Aneethi Kathaigal, the film is being billed to be Samantha’s most exciting and challenging film in her career and also includes an ensemble cast featuring names like Ramya Krishnan and Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kanom fame Gayathrie.
Latest reports about Super Deluxe now state production resumed today with the shoot being planned on filmmaker Mysskin, who has an important role in the film.
Super Deluxe also has quite a bunch of talents as part of its crew and the names include Nalan Kumarasamy for additional screenplay, Yuvan Shankar Raja for the music followed by Nirav Shah and PS Vinod for cinematography.
