Earlier this morning, news came out that comedian Soori filed a police complaint alleging that he was cheated by 3 people for an amount of Rs 2.70 crores under the pretext of a land sale. Soori filed his complaint against actor Vishnu Vishal's father and former IPS officer Ramesh Kudawla, producer Anbuvel Rajan and one more person. Soori has said in his statement that the payment of Rs 40 lakhs for acting in the shelved film, Veera Dheera Sooran, in 2015 has not been paid. He stated that producer Anbuvel Rajan and Vishnu Vishal's father Ramesh Kudawla had gotten Rs 2.70 crores from him assuring that land equivalent to the amount collected will be handed over to him in lieu of the payment.

Following his complaint, Adyar Police in Chennai registered a case on producer Anbuvel Rajan and Ramesh Kudawla under five sections of IPL. This news created a huge buzz on social media and the fans were indeed shocked to see Soori make an allegation against Vishnu Vishal's father. Soori and Vishnu Vishal have acted together in various films like Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, Velainnu Vandhutta Vellakaran, etc.

Now, Vishnu Vishal has shared an official statement regarding the controversy and he has expressed his shock over Soori's allegations. He has also refuted the allegations, adding that he would take proper action within the limits of law. Vishnu Vishal's official statement read, "It is shocking and painful to read such false allegations against me and my father. Obviously vested interests are working. Infact Mr. Suri has to refund Vishnu Vishal Studioz an advance paid to him in 2017 for a film kavarimaan parambarai which eventually was dropped. We have complete faith in law and judiciary system. It may not be appropriate to elaborate further at this point in time and we will strictly go by what law permits. Fans and well wishers are requested to await till the moment of truth, emerges. Also request media to report on this with correct facts. Once things are clear I will take proper action within the limits of law - Vishnu Vishal".

Well, it looks like we will have to wait for some more days to get a better clarity on this issue. Check out Vishnu Vishal's tweet below:
