Vishnu Vishal who is known for his wise selection of strong content-driven movies has picked one more interesting film, FIR which is set to release in theatres on February 11, Friday. The film will have a grand release in theatres through the banner of Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. FIR will be an action packed thriller that will have Vishnu Vishal playing an intense character. Produced by Vishnu Vishal Studioz, the film is directed by debutant Manu Anand, a former associate of Gautham Vasudev Menon and has music composed by Ashwath.

Earlier today (February 3), the makers released the official trailer of the film which looks excellent on many aspects. The trailer piques your interest, managing to hold our attention throughout. FIR is a film about a happy Muslim youth, Irfan Ahmed (Vishnu Vishal) who is framed for a deadly terrorist named Abu Bakker Abdullah and is being targeted by the Police. Did Irfan Ahmed get to prove his innocence or what was his fate is what FIR is going to be about. Recently, we saw Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu also dealing with this idea where an innocent Muslim youth is framed for a communal riot.

It is going to be interesting to see how director Manu Anand has approached this idea. The trailer looks intriguing and neatly cut and it looks like Manu Anand is a promising director to watch out for. With high action and solid emotions, the trailer strikes a chord and let us hope that the film also does the same. Gautham Vasudev Menon plays a pivotal role in the film which has Reba Monica John, Raiza Wilson, and Manjima Mohan in pivotal roles.

With cinematography by Arul Vincent and editing by Prasanna GK, the film has additional screenplay penned by Divyanka Anand Shankar. Stunt Silva has choreographed the action moves in the film and his gritty stunts garner good attention in the newly released trailer.
