Global sensation Rihanna announced her pregnancy earlier this week and shared a series of photos on social media from a stylish maternity photoshoot on Thursday. Posting the pictures on Instagram, the superstar singer cited Black History Month in her caption, which is celebrated in February every year and honors the contributions of Black and African-Americans to society. Rihanna wrote, "How the gang had pulled up to the black history month," and is seen in the first photo showing off her baby bump. The second picture has the singer's boyfriend and rapper A$AP Rocky kissing her on her forehead, while the remaining images show her and her baby bump. Rihanna, who is also an actress, fashion designer, and businesswoman, has reportedly been dating rapper A$AP Rocky since last summer and has confirmed that they are expecting their first baby together. The couple recently spent time in Harlem, with the singer later posting pictures from their outing, which have since gone viral on social media. Entertainment Tonight reported that the couple is beyond excited about the news of the pregnancy and are eagerly waiting to become parents. It is also being said that Rihanna and A$AP wanted to maintain privacy around their pregnancy and did not want to announce the news until they found the time to be right. 

On the work front, Rihanna revealed in December 2019 that she has completed her upcoming album and is withholding its release date for an indefinite period of time. Her last album was Anti in 2016 and has since featured in collaborations with other music artists, including contributing to Canadian singer PartyNextDoor's song 'Believe It', which was released in March 2020. Rihanna has also made appearances in films like This Is the End, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, and Ocean's 8 to name a notable few. On the other hand, A$AP Rocky has made three studio albums, while also featuring in films most notably in Dope and Monster.
