Over the years, there have been numerous occasions where aspiring actors and actresses fall prey to online scams under the promise of being given an opportunity in films for the wrong reasons. In that light, actor Vishnu Vishal had recently encountered a shocking incident where he went on to reveal that his name is being misused by miscreants on social media to exploit ambitious artists. Taking to his Twitter page, Vishnu Vishal shared a screenshot of a message that is doing the rounds and informing followers to steer clear of such fraudsters.

Sharing the screenshot, Vishnu Vishal wrote in his tweet, "To all aspiring actresses Please beware of such people who are trying to misuse my name for wrong reasons. I strongly condemn such people and such nonsense. Also, I am not doing any movie outside my own banner at the moment. It’s an Instagram id. Will file a complaint soon." The text in the screenshot referred to Vishnu Vishal' name as follows: "This message is for an inquiry into a movie project. It is a Tamil movie. There is a talented team behind this film. The film is funded by the new producer. This message is for him. He wants to include you in this project. Higher wages are guaranteed. If you are interested, I can provide detailed information. Vishnu Vishal plays the lead. This is a work that demands compromise. That is why it is asked in this way. If you are ok, I will tell you the all details…"

On the work front, Vishnu Vishal's next big release is Prabhu Solomon's Kaadan in which he will be sharing screen alongside Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati, with the film announced to hit screens on January 15, 2021. Likewise, his Jagajaala Killadi opposite Nivetha Pethuraj under Ezhil's direction with whom he collaborated last on Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran, is yet to come out in theatres and has been delayed. Vishnu Vishal had been shooting for the action thriller FIR alongside Manjima Mohan and Raiza Wilson and earlier this year also announced his next titled Mohandas, which has been teased to be a dark thriller on the lines of his Ratsasan
