Thalapathy Vijay has left for Hyderabad for the next schedule shoot of his upcoming film, Varisu. The visuals of him leaving to Hyderabad from Chennai airport have been doing rounds on social media since this evening. The fourth schedule shoot has begun today (July 4) in Hyderabad and the team will shoot important talkie portions in this schedule. According to the buzz on social media, this new schedule will go on until the 25th of this month after which the team will return to Chennai. The next schedule will begin in the first week of August. This latest update has garnered buzz on social media, serving as a happy piece of information for the fans.

Varisu is directed by Vamshi Paidipally of Thozha and Maharshi fame and has music composed by S Thaman. Produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Varisu will have cinematography handled by Karthick Palani of Adipurush fame, while the editing and dance choreography sections are taken care of by Praveen KL and Shobi Master respectively. Lyricist Vivek has been roped in to pen the lyrics and dialogues for the film. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in this mega biggie and this will be her second film in Tamil cinema after Karthi's Sulthan.

The film features an experienced supporting cast that includes the likes of Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu Khushbu Sundar, Sangitha Krish, Srikanth, Shaam, Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, and others. Varisu is scheduled to hit the screens for the festive occasion of Pongal in January 2023 and the film is sure to have a grand opening at the box office. Varisu is also one of the first films that Vijay has signed to expand his market in Telugu cinema and it is going to be interesting to see how the Telugu version of the film fares at the box office.
