Tamil cinema's favorite star couple Suriya and Jyotika are back and surprised fans with their Diwali wishes on Sunday, November 12, by sharing a glimpse of their celebrations on social media. The popular couple, who have been setting relationship goals for two decades, are seen twinning together and smiling from ear to ear in their latest picture. The new photo posted by Jyotika on Instagram shows her happy and wearing a baby pink full-hand shirt, which she has matched with a floral print skirt, while Suriya is also beaming with joy in a pink-lavender shirt and a white veshti. 

Sharing the picture of herself with Suriya, Jyotika wrote in her Instagram caption: "Happy Diwali !!" along with a red heart, sparkles, and a diya lamp emojis. This latest photo from the couple has once again received a phenomenal response from their fans, who have been bombarding the comments section with wishes, including some expressing their hope to witness the duo on the big screen once again soon. Suriya and Jyotika's latest photo comes after the popular Tamil cinema couple posted a special video on the occasion of Diwali last year and expressed their hearty wishes to fans. 

On the work front, Suriya is currently busy filming the highly-anticipated Kanguva, which is nearing its final stages of production and has been announced for a grand summer 2024 theatrical release. The National Award-winning Tamil actor was recently also announced to be headlining the tentatively titled Suriya 43, which sees him reuniting with acclaimed filmmaker Sudha Kongara after their Soorarai Pottru (2020), which won five awards at the 68th National Film Awards. Touted to be a period venture, Suriya will be sharing screen space with leading Malayalam actors Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya Fahadh, and Hindi star Vijay Varma, while G. V. Prakash Kumar is composing the songs and the background score in what is his landmark 100th film. It is to be noted that Suriya is also set to appear in a cameo in the Soorarai Pottru Hindi remake starring Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, which has been directed by Sudha Kongara and is gearing up for a release soon. Suriya is also attached to National Award-winning Tamil filmmaker Vetri Maaran's highly ambitious Vaadivaasal, which had a test shoot done and a special glimpse also released, with the duo expected to begin shooting for the film in 2024. 

Jyotika, on the other hand, will be seen making her Malayalam cinema comeback starting November 23 in the upcoming romantic drama Kaathal – The Core alongside iconic actor Mammootty directed by The Great Indian Kitchen fame Jeo Baby. She also is set for a big return to Hindi cinema in the much-awaited Sri, which is based on the life of visually-impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla, who is portrayed by Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao, with the Tushar Hiranandani directotial scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on May 10, 2024.
