National Award-winning actor Suriya's next big film, Kanguva, has entered the final stages of production and is currently one of the most-awaited Tamil cinema ventures. Directed by blockbuster filmmaker Siva of Viswasam (2019) and Annaatthe (2021) fame and featuring songs and a background score by 'Rockstar' Devi Sri Prasad, the highly-anticipated film had an action-packed glimpse released back in July on the occasion of Suriya's birthday, with a poster also unveiled giving fans a look at the leading Tamil actor's massive transformation for his role. Having said that, the team of the much-awaited Kanguva has now released a new poster for Suriya's fans as a special Diwali treat on Sunday, November 12. 

The new Kanguva poster reintroduces Suriya as a powerhouse warrior, while surrounded by a number of other soldiers blowing war horns signaling that they are ready for war. We see the actor looking super-fit and intense in his appearance in his tribal attire, with the team also dropping the big announcement that the film will be out as a grand summer 2024 release. With the release plans for Kanguva now revealed, fans will begin their celebrations and wait with bated breath for the next big treat from the team in the days ahead either in the form of a new glimpse, song, or a teaser.

Kanguva will see Suriya sharing the screen with Bollywood sensation Disha Patani, who is making her big Tamil cinema debut, while the supporting cast will include Sathuranga Vettai and Karnan fame Natarajan 'Natty' Subramaniam and Yogi Babu in key roles. The film has been announced to be coming out in 10 languages, with no stone being left unturned in making it as grand and big as possible for its release next year. With Suriya said to be "a man with the power of fire" in Kanguva and the film billed as the "saga of a mighty valiant hero", the film is expected to take a massive opening in cinemas considering it will be out during the summer holidays.
