Shah Rukh Khan took part in an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session with fans on X on Thursday, August 10, where he answered several queries, including the ones about his next big film, Jawan. Scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on September 7, the upcoming film is touted to be a mass action thriller and marks the big Bollywood debut of several big Tamil cinema names starting with filmmaker Atlee, 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara, 'Rockstar' composer Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer GK Vishnu and editor Ruben. 

During the AMA session, Shah Rukh Khan was posed with several questions about Jawan, including one about the message of the film. The 'Bollywood Baadshah' responded saying, "The film has a strong take on women empowerment…how to respect and stand for them. (sic)" He also revealed that the film will be an "emotional drama" apart from including loads of action. Upon being asked how much time it took to complete the film, SRK stated that it was, "a little longer than should have", while adding that, "Atlee has become less Jawan (sic)". When asked whether he fell for co-star Nayanthara during the film's shooting, the Hindi cinema superstar gave an epic witty response and promptly said, "Chup karo! Doh bacchon ki maa hain woh (Shut up! She's mom to two young kids)!! Ha ha. #Jawan.(sic)" Shah Rukh Khan also showered praises on Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi and his performance as the villain in Jawan. He posted, "@VijaySethuOffl he is such an amazing person and actor. Really want everyone to see his subtle nuances and histrionics in the film. Too good. (sic)"

A section of Shah Rukh Khan's fans held a special screening of Chennai Express (2013) in 50 North Indian cities, with the actor mentioning it was a lovely experience ten years ago. He added that there's a new Chennai Express loading now in the form of Jawan with Atlee, Vijay Sethupathi, Anirudh, Nayanthara, dance choreographer Shobhi, and fight master Anl Arasu. The actor also went on to reveal that his favorite Jawan song is titled 'Chaleya', which he informed is "romantic and sweet and gentle..." like him while complimenting Anirudh saying he "has excelled". Declaring that the upcoming film too will be getting a "full 3D IMAX version", SRK hoped that he gets a place in the hearts of his fans in South India. Upon being asked whether he'd watch 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Jailer, the Pathaan star said, "Of course I love Rajni sir….Maassss!! He had come on Jawan set and blessed us too. (sic)" Shah Rukh Khan concluded his AMA session answering a question about Jawan director Atlee and whether he could dance.
