'Superstar' Rajinikanth is back in action and in prime form once again in Jailer released in theatres worldwide today (August 10) and the early reactions to the mass entertainer are out now on X (formerly known as Twitter). Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar under Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures banner and featuring music composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, the film has taken a gargantuan opening everywhere as expected, with the first audience response being highly-positive.
Jailer sees Rajinikanth coming back to the big screen after two years after his Annaatthe (2021) and sees him alongside some of the biggest names in Indian cinema starting with Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar and iconic Malayalam actor Mohanlal, who are appearing in cameo roles, while Bollywood star Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Yogi Babu, Taramani and Rocky actor Vasanth Ravi, Pushpa fame Sunil, and Mirnaa Menon are cast in key roles, with Vinayakan of Mariyan fame playing the antagonist.
