One upcoming film that has generated massive excitement among fans right from the moment of its announcement, the upcoming Hindi remake of the blockbuster Tamil film Vikram Vedha starring Bollywood superstars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles, will open in theatres worldwide on September 30. With a major chunk of filming in the first two schedules canned in Lucknow and Abu Dhabi, it has now been revealed that leading actress Radhika Apte has wrapped shooting her portions in Vikram Vedha

In a report published in Mid-Day, Radhika recently completed a 10-day schedule for Vikram Vedha in Mumbai. The Kabali actress spoke about her time shooting with the team and expressed her happiness to be a part of the film, while also showering praises on co-star Saif Ali Khan, with whom she had previously collaborated in Baazaar (2018) and the Netflix crime thriller series Sacred Games Season 1. Radhika said, "It was a 10-day schedule in Mumbai, and I had a lovely time. It felt nice to get back on the set. I love the energy that I missed so much. I had previously filmed only a small chunk of the film and wrapped up most of my major portions only now. Having worked with Saif before, I am happy that we collaborated again. The film brings together a passionate bunch of people." Reports further state the team is planning to complete production on Vikram Vedha by the end of this month.

The Vikram Vedha Hindi remake will see Hrithik Roshan essaying 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi's role as Vedha, while Saif Ali Khan has been cast as Vikram played by R. Madhavan in the Tamil original. Filmmaker duo Pushkar-Gayatri are directing the upcoming Bollywood version after the 2017 Tamil edition, which went on to become a massive box office and critical success. Being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks & S. Sashikanth’s YNOT Studios, Vikram Vedha is a neo-noir action thriller and is based on the Indian folktale Vikram aur Betaal.
