2017's Vikram Vedha by husband and wife filmmaker duo, Pushkar and Gayathri, starring R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the titular roles respectively was quite a revelation of the film. The cat and mouse movie opened to positive critical reviews with praise for all major aspects of the production. For these reasons, the director duo are back at it to remake this Tamil cult classic into a Hindi version of the film.

It is surely bound to follow the same premise as the original film with a change of cast; Saif Ali Khan as Vikram and Hrithik Roshan as Vedha. For weeks now, we have only seen the first look of Hrithik's character in the film which was unveiled in celebration of the actor's birthday. He looked as gangster as a gangster could be- suave, covered in blood and a rugged look.

After a long wait, Hrithik Roshan has now dropped the first glimpse of his co-star Saif Ali Khan. Along with the picture shared on Twitter, the star , captioned the image as, "VIKRAM. P.s : working with one of the finest actor and a colleague I have admired for years is going to be an experience I’m going to cherish. Can’t wait! #VikramVedha #SaifAliKhan #VikramFirstLook". Just as how excited he is to work with the veteran actor, we too are excited to see them act alongside each other on the big screen. Saif’s first look as Vikram sees him as a no-nonsense cop, sporting a white t-shirt all the while displaying his swagger.

The neo-noir action thriller stars Saif Ali Khan as the police officer Vikram and Hrithik Roshan as the gangster Vedha along with Radhika Apte and Rohit Saraf. It is produced by YNOT Studios, Reliance Entertainment and Plan C Studios. The film is scheduled to be theatrically released on 30 September 2022.
