Telugu actor Prabhas became an overnight sensation across India after the staggering box office success of his Baahubali films and has since been announced to be a part of several big pan-Indian films. Among the ventures in his lineup, the period sci-fi romantic drama film Radhe Shyam will see the superstar sharing screen space opposite youth sensation Pooja Hegde, with the film's story set in Europe during the 1970s. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, Radhe Shyam is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on the festive occasion of Sankranthi on January 14, 2022, with the second song in the film titled 'Thiraiyoadu Thoorigai' in Tamil announced on Monday to be releasing on December 1.
Produced by Vamsi and Pramod under their UV Creations banner and being presented by UV Krishnam Raju's Gopi Krishna Movies Private Limited, the Radhe Shyam team has now released a special teaser for 'Thiraiyoadu Thoorigai' composed by Justin Prabhakaran and is billed as "The Love Anthem of the Year". The song has lyrics by Karky in Tamil, with Justin Prabhakaran lending the tune for the Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam versions as well. The expectations for Radhe Shyam are tremendous as the visuals in the film made as a bilingual in Telugu and Hindi, while being dubbed in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, show it having a grand scope.
'Thiraiyoadu Thoorigai' is the second song to be releasing from Radhe Shyam after 'Aagoozhile' sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Harni Ivaturi, which came out to glowing reviews a few days back. The film will see Prabhas playing a character named Vikramaditya, a fortune teller, while Pooja Hegde has been cast in the role of a princess named Prerana. Radhe Shyam includes an ensemble star cast featuring names like Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Bhagyashree, Murli Sharma, Sasha Chettri, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Sathyan among others in major supporting roles.
