The blockbuster hit Nadigaiyar Thilagam skyrocketed Keerthy Suresh's stocks and she became hot property not just in the South but in Bollywood too. Following the success of this movie, apart from the National Award, quite a lot of offers too came pouring in for the talented young starlet. Sizzling Keerthy Suresh is now one of the most popular actresses across our country. Keerthy Suresh, the talented actress was recently seen in the direct OTT release film, Penguin, which has opened to mixed reviews from critics and the fans. Up next, Keerthy has quite a few interesting projects in her line up and it includes Annaatthe with Superstar Rajinikanth, Rang De with Nithiin, Miss India (solo lead), and an untitled film with acclaimed director Nagesh Kukunoor. This untitled film’s first look and title have now been released by the makers. Yes this project has been titled Sakhi and the first look also reveals that the teaser of the film will be released on the 15th of August for Independence Day - “What better day than the INDEPENDENCE DAY for this! Teaser of #GoodLuckSakhi will be out on August 15 at 10 AM! #GoodLuckSakhiTeaser.” 
Sakhi is Nagesh Kukunoor’s first film which features the likes of Keerthy Suresh, Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu and Rahul Ramakrishna. Sakhi will be a sports romance, which will feature music by Devi Sri Prasad. Filming had began in Vikarabad and Pune last year for this movie Produced by Sudheer Chandra. Rahul Ramakrishna who is also part of the film earlier mentioned a few words about the film on his Twitter space - “Great fun to be working with this stellar cast and crew.” Keerthy Suresh is also waiting for the release of Miss India which also stars Jagapathi Babu, Naveen Chandra, Rajendra Prasad, Naresh, Poojitha Ponnada, Nadhiya, Bhanushree Mehra and Sumanth, among others. SS Thaman is scoring the music for this venture, which has cinematography by Sujith Vassudev with editing by Tammiraju. Meanwhile, Keerthy is also awaiting the release of her Malayalam biggie Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, which has Mohanlal in the lead.
