Maamannan is the last film of Udhayanidhi Stalin as an actor that was released in theatres today. The actor and the director of the film Mari Selvaraj has shared the reaction of 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan after watching the film before the audio launch event of the film and expressed their thanks. Mari Selvaraj expressed his gratitude for the veteran actor and stated "with great love and strong faith Kamal Haasan sir embraced me and my creations and I express my gratitude and thanks to him” He shared the tweet with photos they that the director and the actor took with 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan and it shows the actor candidly talking with the Maamannan team.

The producer and lead of the film Udhayanidhi Stalin also expressed his thanks to Kamal Haasan and said apart from watching Maamannan, he also participated in the audio launch event of Maamannan and the cast and crew of the film would like to thank 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan for that.
