Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi's latest release Kadaisi Vivasayi has opened to highly positive reviews from the critics and general audience. Recently, acclaimed filmmaker Mysskin heaped praises on the movie and the video of it turned viral on social media, making a lot of people interested in watching the film. The film, though being a top class film, hasn't attracted the masses and it is the people who are interested in watching good cinema have made their way to the theatres. The film is expected to have a good run until this weekend after which the Valimai storm will take over the proceedings.

Meanwhile, the makers have now released a new deleted scene from the movie on YouTube and this deleted scene gives us a better picture of Vijay Sethupathi's character in the film. Vijay Sethupathi who plays Ramayya in the film, is unable to get over the fact that the girl he loved is no more and so he believes that she is near him, traveling along with him to all the places that he goes to. In this deleted scene, we see Ramayya washing the clothes of his girl, and there's also another scene where we see him walking down the mud road with coolers on.

Despite coming for a short time, Vijay Sethupathi left a lasting impact with his brilliant performance and his presence has also given the film a better reach and positioning. Kadaisi Vivasayi is directed by M Manikandan, known for movies like Kaaka Muttai, Kuttramae Thandanai, and Aandavan Kattalai. Produced by Tribal Arts in association with Vijay Sethupathi Productions, the film has late Nallandi playing the lead role. Nallandi, being a real life farmer and an untrained actor, managed to touch our hearts with his innocent yet commendable performance.

Santhosh Narayanan and Richard Harvey took care of the music of the film which had cinematography by Manikandan and editing by B Ajith Kumar.
