Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi's long-awaited film, Kadaisi Vivasayi is finally set for its theatrical release and the official announcement on the film's release has been made. Kadaisi Vivasayi will hit the theatres on February 11, Friday, and it will have a grand release. Vijay Sethupathi made the official announcement through a tweet and it has made the fans and cinephiles delighted. Vishal's Veeramae Vaagai Soodum is set to release in theatres on February 4 and now Vijay Sethupathi's Kadaisi Vivasayi has booked its berth after the third wave of Covid 19. More films are expected to join in the coming days.

Kadaisi Vivasayi is a film that has excited the film buffs ever since its first announcement as the film comes from acclaimed director Manikandan known for making movies like Kaakka Muttai, Kuttrame Thandanai, and Aandavan Kattalai. Kadaisi Vivasayi features an old man named Nallandi playing the lead role, while Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu would be seen playing extended cameo roles. Except for Vijay Sethupathi and Yogi Babu, the rest of the cast are fresh faces handpicked by Manikandan from the village where they shot the film. Interestingly, the film has also been shot with live sounds.

Produced by Manikandan's Tribal Arts Production, the film has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. BAFTA Award Winning English composer Richard Harvey has worked on the background score of the film which has been edited by B Ajith Kumar. Apart from writing, directing, and producing the film, Manikandan has also handled the cinematography. After a long and patient wait, the fans will finally get to see Kadaisi Vivasayi which is expected to leave a strong impact on the audience. Get ready for an exciting ride.
