The teaser for HIT - The First Case is loaded with spectacle as a feast for action lovers, while also giving a glimpse at the romantic chemistry between Rajkummar and the film's heroine Sanya Malhotra, who is seen as his biggest pillar of support.

HIT - The First Case is an official remake of the smash hit Telugu film of the same title and has been directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu, who incidentally helmed the original released in theatres in February 2020 before the lockdown. The Telugu version starring Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in the lead roles was produced by actor Nani’s Wall Poster Cinema banner and had received a strong following after its release on Amazon Prime Video. Initially planned for a May 20 theatrical release, HIT - The First Case's Hindi version will now open in cinemas on July 15 and has been jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishnan Kumar, and Kuldeep Rathore's T-Series in association with Dil Raju Productions, which is a subsidiary of blockbuster Telugu producer Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations. It is to be noted that Dil Raju is also currently producing the highly-anticipated Thalapathy 66 in Tamil with Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles alongside an ensemble multi-starrer cast.

Apart from Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra forming the lead pair in HIT - The First Case, the film's star cast includes Dalip Tahhil, Milind Gunaji, Shilpa Shukla, Sanjay Narvekar among others in major supporting roles, with the technical team featuring the likes of music director Manan Bhardwaj, cinematographer S. Manikandan, editor Garry BH, production designer Mandar Nagoankar, action director Sunil Rodrigues, while the dialogues have been penned by Girish Kohli.
