Thalapathy Vijay's Beast is set to hit the screens on April 14 and the fans are eagerly looking forward to the d-day. The 'Arabic Kuthu' song from Beast has given the right kind of start for the film with regards to its promotions. 'Arabic Kuthu' is the current talk of the town and the rest of the songs are expected to release in the coming days. Following Beast, Vijay will be joining forces with director Vamshi Paidipally for a Tamil - Telugu bilingual and the film is tentatively titled Thalapathy 66. While Vijay is expected to team up with directors like Lokesh Kanagaraj and Atlee for his upcoming ventures, there is also a project with Vetri Maaran that has been in talks for a long time.

Whenever Vijay and Vetri Maaran collaborate, the project is sure to gain phenomenal buzz on social media and the fans are waiting to witness the same. With that said, music composer GV Prakash has now opened up on the possibilities of the collaboration and his reply has set the fans in excitement. In a recent Twitter live chat, when one of the fans asked GV Prakash to comment on the Vijay - Vetri Maaran project, he said, "It all depends on the timing. When the call sheet and schedules of both of them match, they will work it out. Both of them are currently busy with their respective commitments and when everything comes together at one point, the project will happen and it will be an important film".

Quite exciting, right?. Vijay's recent choice of directors have been interesting enough and let us hope that the highly anticipated Vetri Maaran gets mounted as soon as possible. Vetri Maaran currently has three to four projects in his pipeline - Vaadivaasal with Suriya, Viduthalai with Soori and Vijay Sethupathi, Rajan Vagaiyara web series, and the yet to be announced Kamal Haasan film. When the Vijay - Vetri Maaran film happens, it will have music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
