On one of the rarest occasions, two legendary composers Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja and A.R.Rahman met recently and the picture from their meeting has set social media on fire. Ilaiyaraaja recently visited A.R.Rahman's new music recording studio, Firdaus Studio in Dubai and the Academy Award winning composer took to his official Instagram page to share his excitement about the same. He termed it to be a special moment to have the legendary Ilaiyaraaja visiting his studio and also hoped that the Maestro uses Firdaus Studio and the orchestra to play for any of his upcoming projects.

Sharing a picture with Ilaiyaraaja at the Firdaus Studio, A.R.Rahman wrote, "Such a pleasure welcoming the Maestro to our Firdaus studio... hope he composes something amazing for the @firdausorchestra to play in future!". It is not often that we see such things happen and this picture has come as a delightful treat for fans. A.R.Rahman is currently working on multiple projects that have a good level of buzz. His next release will most likely be Cobra, the Chiyaan Vikram starrer which is set to release on May 26. Among the lot, Rahman's highlight project happens to be the historical epic, Ponniyin Selvan which has got huge expectations among the film buffs.

Ponniyin Selvan will have Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. Ponniyin Selvan is scheduled to hit the screens on September 30, 2022. Rahman was recently announced to compose music for the upcoming Udhayanidhi Stalin starrer Maamannan, directed by Mari Selvaraj. Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan, Silambarasan TR's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu and Pathu Thala, Prithviraj Sukumaran's Aadujeevitham, Parthiban's Iravin Nizhal, are the other prominent films that will have music by A.R.Rahman.
