Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan is doing a phenomenal business at the box office and there is absolutely no stopping the film from its raging performance. The film has completed 10 days of run in theatres but the occupancy rate hasn't dropped and is running highly successful at the box office, registering great numbers. The most interesting aspect is that the film has managed to attract the senior citizens who are coming in large numbers to the theatres. This momentum of Ponniyin Selvan is expected to continue at the theatres until the Diwali weekend and happening days ahead.

Meanwhile, the cinematographer of Ponniyin Selvan, Ravi Varman took to his official Instagram page this morning (October 10) to share a new BTS video from the sets and this video has turned viral among the fans. The video captures Ravi Varman losing his balance and slipping for a moment, while shooting the action sequence featuring Jayam Ravi as Arun Mozhi Varman. We see Ravi Varman holding the camera and tracking behind Jayam Ravi, but eventually loses balance. Fortunately, he realised the same and took control of the situation. The video has been garnering attention among netizens since this morning.

Ravi Varman's work in Ponniyin Selvan is being widely raved by everyone and he elevated the quality and standard of the movie with his aesthetically pleasing cinematography. Ponniyin Selvan stars Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles while the supporting cast includes the likes of Sarath Kumar, Parthiban, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Vikram Prabhu, Prabhu, Lal, Rahman, Kishore, Riyaz Khan, and others. Ponniyin Selvan has become a huge success and the fans are now looking forward to seeing the second part which is slated to release in theatres in the summer of 2023.
