Two-time National Award-winning Tamil actor Dhanush suffered a major setback when the official YouTube channel of his production banner, Wunderbar Films, got hacked on Tuesday morning. Divo has issued a statement in this regard saying the recovery process is currently underway with the help of YouTube India. Taking to Twitter, they wrote, "Today early morning @wunderbarfilms  youtube channel unfortunately got hacked and will be recovered shortly. @YouTubeIndia is helping us with the process @dhanushkraja @theSreyas". Here's the statement:

Dhanush launched his film production and distribution company, Wunderbar Films, along with Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth in 2010 and made his debut as a producer with the box office 3. Since then, the actor-producer has tasted success with his production ventures namely Ethir Neechal, Velaiilla Pattadhari, Kaaki Sattai, Naanum Rowdydhaan, Kaala, Vada Chennai, and Maari and Maari 2. Dhanush has also received praise for producing content-oriented films like Kaaka Muttai, Visaranai, and Pa Paandi, which were appreciated by fans and critics alike. It is to be noted that the 'Rowdy Baby' video song from Maari 2 picturized on Dhanush and Sai Pallavi composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and directed by Balaji Mohan released in 2018 and is the only South Indian and Tamil cinema song to date on YouTube to cross 1 billion views. 'Rowdy Baby' was watched by viewers on the Wunderbar Films YouTube channel, including international YouTubers, who too celebrated the song.

As for his upcoming ventures, Dhanush has several big projects lined up starting with the Hollywood film The Gray Man directed by Anthony and Joe Russo of Avengers: Endgame fame, which will premiere on Netflix on July 22. In Tamil, he is currently awaiting the release of Thiruchitrambalam, a Sun Pictures production, and will see him share screen space with Priya Bhavani Shankar, Raashii Khanna, and Nitya Menen under Mithran R. Jawahar's direction. Dhanush also has the highly-anticipated Naane Varuven, which marks his reunion with brother and filmmaker Selvaraghavan. He is also currently working in the bilingual Vaathi in Tamil and is titled Sir in Telugu being directed by Venky Atluri of Tholi Prema and Rang De fame. Likewise, Dhanush is set to begin shooting soon for his Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi trilingual venture with acclaimed filmmaker Sekhar Kammula.
