Dhanush is easily one of the most prolific actors in India. He is predominantly seen in Tamil movies but that has not stopped the star actor from starring in Bollywood movies as well or even in Telugu movies as he is currently working on the Telugu film Sir. He has been making headlines recently for his involvement in the Hollywood film The Gray Man.

During a recent post-screening press conference in Los Angeles for The Gray Man, Dhanush, who makes his international debut with the Russo Brothers with the upcoming film, revealed that he did not know how he ended up being part of the film. He went on to add that he was super thrilled to learn and explore from the opportunity. Dhanush plays a small but pivotal role in the film. He is reported to have played the role of an assassin who hardly has any dialogue. When asked about how he landed the opportunity and became a part of the project, Dhanush said, “I don’t know how I ended up in this film". Check it out:

The actor's response got everyone in the room burst out into laughter, including his co-stars Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling who were present in the room. He further went on to add, “I was thrilled and very excited. Of course, I don’t get to say much in the film. I was super thrilled and was looking for an opportunity to learn and explore". Other than that, Dhanush is currently awaiting the release of his films Naane Varuven, Thiruchitrambalam, Vaathi/Sir. and Captain Miller.

The Gray Man is an upcoming action thriller film directed by Anthony and Joe Russo of Avengers fame, from a screenplay that the latter co-wrote with Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. It is based on the 2009 novel of the same name written by Mark Greaney. The film stars Dhanush Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, and Billy Bob Thornton. The film is produced by the Russo brothers themselves under the banner of their company, AGBO, and is set to release on Netflix on 22 July 2022. With a production budget of a whopping $200 million, it is the most expensive film ever made by Netflix.
