Leading Tamil actor Dhanush's highly-anticipated Hollywood film, The Gray Man, scheduled to premiere on Netflix on July 22 will feature the star alongside some of the biggest names in the world. Directed by Avengers: Endgame fame the Russo Brothers, the upcoming action thriller has Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans in lead roles, and promotions have kicked off ahead of its release later this month. Dhanush, who will be playing a character named Avik San in The Gray Man, has now appeared in a video released by Netflix India, which has him sharing his excitement over the film's directors Joe and Anthony Russo coming to India to join him in the promotions. 

The video starts off with Dhanush describing his shooting experience for The Gray Man in one word. The actor reveals, "It was incredible." Upon being queried about what he's most excited about for Indian fans who will be watching the film, the two-time National Award-winning actor said, "This movie, it's a roller coaster. It has everything - action, drama, pace, crazy stunts, and an epic chase." Dhanush also opened up about his part in The Gray Man adding, "I'm very grateful that I got to do a modest role in this movie full of incredible people. Hope you all enjoy the film." 

Dhanush then went on to drop a major announcement revealing that the directors of The Gray Man, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, will be coming to India for the film's promotions. Calling the director duo "the two most talented people" he's worked with, the Atrangi Re actor informed fans that the Avengers filmmakers will be instead doing the big reveal. Joe Russo and Anthony Russo appeared on video to share their excitement at coming to India and told fans that they will be joining their "dear friend" Dhanush for their new movie, The Gray Man. Produced by the Russo brothers' company, AGBO, in association with Roth/Kirschenbaum Films, the film is based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Mark Greaney, which has been adapted for the screen by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and also stars Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Regé-Jean Page, Wagner Moura, Julia Butters, Dhanush, Alfre Woodard, and Billy Bob Thornton among others in crucial roles.
