Dhanush and director arun matheswaran join hands for a new movie after captain miller wunderbar films - Tamil Movie Cinema News

Two-time National Award-winning actor Dhanush will be joining hands once again with Captain Miller director Arun Matheswaran and this time for a project under the Wunderbar Films banner. The news was announced by Sreyas, CEO of Wunderbar Films, on social media on Sunday, August 20, and is set to be yet another biggie coming out under the hit production-distribution banner. Sharing his excitement for the upcoming project, Dhanush quoted the post on X writing, "Looking forward ♥️ (sic)", while Arun Matheswaran expressed his excitement and gratitude by thanking the team for the opportunity.

The announcement of the new Dhanush-Arun Matheswaran project has come at a time when post-production works are currently underway on the duo's highly-anticipated Captain Miller, which is scheduled for a grand worldwide theatrical release on December 15. With sky-high expectations already surrounding Captain Miller, the news of Dhanush and Rocky (2021) and Saani Kaayidham (2022) director Arun Matheswaran teaming up once again for a new project will only add to the hype for both ventures as days go by. It is to be noted that this latest venture is also Wunderbar Films' next big project after they announced a film in association with Zee Studios under Mari Selvaraj's direction earlier this year.

The new project is Dhanush's next big venture in his long list of projects starting with Captain Miller, which will be his second and last release of 2023. The Vaathi star is at present filming his second directorial, the tentatively titled D50, after Pa Paandi (2017), which is being produced under the prestigious Sun Pictures banner, and is their second collaboration after Thiruchitrambalam (2022). Dhanush also has the tentatively D51 alongside Rashmika Mandanna under hit Telugu filmmaker Sekhar Kammula's direction announced as a pan-Indian film, while Tere Ishk Mein in Hindi marks his third-time collaboration with director Aanand L. Rai after Raanjhanaa (2013) and Atrangi Re (2021).
