Taking to their social networking handles, Sun Pictures announced that the 'Hukum' track in Rajinikanth's Jailer has attained the distinction of the first-ever South Indian song to become number one on Spotify in India. This latest record by the song on the audio streaming and media services provider is indeed massive as it continues to reign at the top of the charts. 'Hukum' sung by Anirudh and also featuring vocals by Rajinikanth himself to the lyrics penned by Super Subu has received a sensational response from all quarters and was also a major highlight during the Jailer audio launch where celebrities and fans too were seen grooving to the chart-topping hit track. 

Sun Pictures has also announced that the Jailer album is also currently reigning at the top at number one on Spotify Top Albums India. The film continues to smash box office records after it was revealed earlier this week that the its first-week total gross collection of 375.40 crores (tentative - still updating) is the highest in the history of Tamil cinema. Rajinikanth's Jailer is currently en route to becoming one of Tamil cinema's biggest box office hits and fans await fresh numbers to be revealed in the days ahead.
