Academy Award-winning Tamil composer A. R. Rahman has denied boarding Dhruv Vikram's next film, which is said to be Dada (2023) fame Ganesh K. Babu's second directorial. The hit music director issued a clarification on social media on Saturday evening, August 19, denying being part of the said project and requesting for the rumors to not be spread going forward. Responding to a fan's post,, A. R. Rahman wrote on X, "Not true ..kindly don’t spread rumours😊 I wish the talented,charming Dhruv and the whole team an amazing success! (sic)"

A. R. Rahman's latest statement has put an end to the speculations surrounding Dhruv Vikram's next project after his upcoming film with Maamannan director Mari Selvaraj, which has been revealed to be a sports venture based on Indian Kabbadi player and Arjuna Award recipient Manathi P. Ganesan. There were reports sometime back stating that the Adithya Varma actor will be joining hands with Dada director Ganesh K. Babu for a new film under the prestigious Lyca Productions banner, with A. R. Rahman coming on board as the music composer, followed by an announcement set to be made about the project on August 25. With the iconic composer now issuing a clarification, fans will be looking forward to knowing the status of the said Dhruv and Dada director Ganesh K. Babu's project. 

Dhruv Vikram, who was last seen alongside his father 'Chiyaan' Vikram in the smash hit Mahaan (2022), is currently preparing for his role as a Kabbadi player in Mari Selvaraj's next, which is expected to roll into production soon. A. R. Rahman, on the other hand, is attached to several big projects up ahead in Tamil starting with Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan releasing this Diwali in November.
