Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 has gone past 70 days, with the show being hosted by 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan currently including Ramya Pandian, Rio Raj, Shivani Narayanan, Gabriella Charlton, Aajeedh, Balaji Murugadoss, Som Shekhar, Anitha Sampath, Aari and the first wildcard entrant VJ Archana Chandhoke battling it out in the tasks they're being challenged with after Velmurugan, Suchithra, Suresh Chakravarthy, Jithan Ramesh, Samyuktha Karthik, Rekha Harris, Sanam Shetty and Aranthangi Nisha were evicted. Having said that, popular VJ Bhavna Balakrishnan, known for hosting shows on Vijay Television, has expressed her dissatisfaction upon witnessing the Bigg Boss 4 contestants repeatedly using words that don't exist in the English vocabulary during discussions or arguments.

The issue gained steam when Bigg Boss on Monday asked each contestant to nominate two housemates for eviction, with all of them stating their reasons for their choices. Among them, Anitha nominated Aajeedh and Som Shekhar stating that the latter was playing the "favourism" game. Anitha went on to use the "favourism' term on several occasions during the entire Bigg Boss 4 episode and even during an argument with Rio Raj during the nomination process. Soon after, Rio in his defense began using the same term, with Som Shekhar following suit. Taking note of their statements and the use of the "favourism" word, Bhavna Balakrishnan took to her Instagram page to correct the Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 contestants for using the "favourism" word incorrectly in the hopes of those watching the show to not begin referring to the term and wrong English henceforth.

Bhavna in an Instagram story wrote, "Guys. This has gone on for too long. There is no word called "FAVOURISM". It’s FAVOURI-TI-SM for crying out loud. Why isn’t anyone correcting them ? We don’t want kids to pick up wrong English while watching the show". She further added a hashtag saying "Mudila da Saami", expressing her frustration over the incorrect English vocabulary.
