The announcement of the 'Chilla Chilla' song from Thunivu has come after quite a long wait for Ajith's fans everywhere and they will no doubt be highly ecstatic with this latest news. Choreographer Kalyan too revealed a while back that the song will be liked by the superstar's fans as it will see him setting the dance floor on fire akin to his 'Aaluma Doluma' in Vedalam and 'Adchithooku' in Viswasam. Expectations are huge for the Thunivu album as it also marks the first occasion music director Ghibran is composing songs and the background score for an Ajith film after he handled the re-recording for the actor's Valimai released earlier this year.

Announced to come out as a grand Pongal release in January 2023, Thunivu directed by H. Vinoth is the third consecutive time Ajith has collaborated with the hit filmmaker and producer Boney Kapoor after their Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai. The upcoming film billed to be a mass action thriller also has National Award-winning Malayalam actress Manju Warrier of Asuran fame as the female lead, while, Samuthirakani is playing the role of a cop, with Bigg Boss Tamil stars Ciby Bhuvana Chandran, Pavni and Amir set to make appearances.
