Ajith Kumar's Thunivu is all set for a grand theatrical outing as a Pongal treat in January 2023 and preparations to make it as big a release is currently underway after Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies acquired the film's Tamil Nadu distribution rights recently. Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner in association with Zee Studios, the upcoming film is billed to be a heist action thriller and will feature music by Ghibran, who is composing an album for the superstar for the first time in his career after overseeing the background score in Valimai earlier this year.

With post-production works on Thunivu progressing at a brisk pace and Ajith as well dubbing his portions, there has been quite a lot of buzz over the past few days regarding the release of the film's first single titled 'Chilla Chilla', which has been sung by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander and will feature lyrics written by Vaisagh of the hit 'Kaaka Kadha' song fame. As news of Kalyan master choreographing the song has been confirmed, actor Ciby Bhuvana Chandran, who is playing a pivotal role in the film, has now shared his first impression after listening to the 'Chilla Chilla' song. Known for playing the lead role in Vanjagar Ulagam, including appearing in a supporting role in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's 2021 blockbuster Master, the popular Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 star kept it short in his review of the 'Chilla Chilla' song in Thunivu saying he loved it and declared it to be "mass", while also sharing a word, which is believed to be from the lyrics of the track - 'Ullukulla'.
