Ajith Kumar's Thunivu has been announced to release for Pongal in January in a grand manner and the buzz for the film is at an all-time high now. The film directed by H. Vinoth and produced under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner in association with Zee Studios features music by Ghibran and the composer has now shared a huge update about a song from the upcoming venture. Ghibran, who has boarded an Ajith venture for the first time, has announced the title of the track from Thunivu to be 'Chilla Chilla', while also revealing that it has been sung by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander to the lyrics penned by Vaisagh of 'Kaaka Kadha' fame, which recently turned out to be a massive independent hit.

On Friday, November 3, Ghibran posted a photo on Twitter in which he is seen along with Anirudh and Vaisagh from the sound stage after they finished recording the 'Chilla Chilla' song from Thunivu. The trio appears to be in high spirits and the wait will now be on for the track to release in the days ahead. The excitement for 'Chilla Chilla' is set to shoot up as we go forward and the Thunivu team will keep fans updated regarding its launch, with an official announcement expected to come out next. Anirudh last sang for Ajith when he composed the songs for the actor's Vivegam in 2017 and crooned tracks like 'Surviva', 'Thalai Viduthalai', 'Veriyera', and 'Kadhalaada' (reprise version). Below is Ghibran's tweet:

Thunivu is one of the biggest films in Ajith's career and will be released in Tamil Nadu by Udhayanidhi Stalin, who recently acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for the venture under his Red Giant Movies banner. The film also stars National Award-winning Malayalam actress Manju Warrier of Asuran fame playing the female lead, with post-production and dubbing works currently underway in Chennai. Thunivu is the third consecutive time Ajith has collaborated with H. Vinoth and Boney Kapoor after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai, and expectations are huge for the trio’s film to do wonders once again.
