Pakistani-American actress-model Zara Tareen tied the knot with co-actor Faran Tahir in an intimate wedding ceremony in Lahore on Monday. The wedding saw many names from all walks of life come together to wish the newly-wed couple among whom included Tooba Siddiqui, Nausheen Shah, Irsa Ghazal, Ali Tahir, Sarwat Gilani and Ushna Shah to name a notable few. Zara was gorgeous in a red-gold embroidered lehenga with a full-sleeved blouse, which she complimented with traditional jewelry, while Faran looked dashing in a black sherwani. Zara’s sister Hira Tareen posted pictures from the ceremony and wrote, "My beautiful Zaroo, you made the most stunning bride I’ve ever seen mA! This was our moment last night and what a magical night it was! May God shower you with all his blessings on your new journey. So happy for you! All evil eyes off!" Actress Tooba Siddiqui too shared a picture and posted her wishes for Zara and Faran writing, "All my prayers for the happy couple and I hope @ztareen finds all the happiness in the world ❤️❤️# zarakishadi 🙌🙌🙌#teambride." 

Earlier, Hira shared pictures from Zara and Faran's Mehendi ceremony with the caption: "The festivities begin for the wedding of my beautiful sister Zara and equally beautiful and awesome human being jijoo Faran Tahir! Two loving families unite. May Allah bless us all! #weddingbells #mehendi #zaratareen #farantahir". Outside of her work on the Pakistani drama show Mushk and web-series Dhoop ki Dewar, Zara has made appearances in a number of Hollywood films namely Iron Man (2008) and Star Trek (2009), while Faran too has starred in Escape Plan (2013) and Elysium (2013).
