Vikram Kumar, director of the science fiction Suriya-starrer 24, is all ready to roll out with his next project. Joining him in this adventure is Naga Chaitanya, who has been roped into the project marking the actor-director duo's third collaboration together after 2014's Manam and their upcoming film Thank You. This project will be a web series and Naga Chaitanya will be making his OTT debut with the director.

Naga Chaitanya, who is currently basking in the success of his recent films, has now given us a glimpse of his new beginning. He took to social media and shared a photo from the sets of his upcoming web series titled Dootha, which means 'The Messenger'. The black & white photo shows the script of the web series kept on the table along with Naga Chaitanya's watch, pen, and a book. Captioning the post, he wrote, "To a new start ..".

Dootha will go on the floors soon and is billed to be a supernatural horror thriller. Director Vikram Kumar also took to his social media handle and shared a similar monochrome BTS image of the script with a caption that read, "The next one begins #horror #horrormovies #horrorstories #horrorfan #thriller #newbeginnings". Dootha's script paper has a quotation from American poet W. H. Auden which reads, "I and the public know. What all schoolchildren learn, those to whom evil is done. Do evil in return."

Naga Chaitanya, who was last seen in Bangarraju, will be seen in Vikram Kumar's Thank You, which is yet to set a date for its release. It has also been reported that Naga Chaitanya will be sharing screen space next opposite youth sensation Pooja Hegde for a bilingual project under Tamil filmmaker Venkat Prabhu's direction.
