Vishal is one of the leading actors in Tamil cinema who is also a producer, bankrolling films under the banner of Vishal Film Factory. He started the company in 2013 to produce and release his films on his own since one of his earlier films, Madha Gaja Raja failed to hit the screens due to financial troubles of the producer. Vishal has produced films like Pandiya Naadu, Naan Sigappu Manithan, Poojai, Aambala, Kathakali, Thupparivaalan, Irumbu Thirai and Sandakozhi 2 in his banner. VFF also released the Tamil dubbed version of the blockbuster action drama KGF: Chapter 1 that starred Yash in the lead role.

According to latest reports, the company's manager Hari has now filed a police complaint against a woman named Ramya, who worked as an accountant for Vishal Film Factory for the past six years. In his petition, Hari has claimed that the woman has swindled around Rs 45 lakhs from Vishal and the company for the past six years during regular intervals. Manager Hari has also reportedly accused Ramya of buying a new house recently with that money.

This action from Vishal Film Factory comes after Hari found discrepancies in the company’s expenditure. The complaint has been registered and the Police have begun their investigation process. On the work front, Vishal will next be seen in Chakra, a cyber-crime action thriller directed by debutant M.S.Anandan and produced by Vishal Film Factory. The trailer of this film which released recently, got a very good response from the fans, creating good hype. Chakra is expected to hit the theatres as soon as the pandemic situation gets resolved. The film stars Shraddha Srinath, Regina Cassandra, K.R.Vijaya, Robo Shankar, Srushti Dange, in supporting roles.

Apart from this film, Vishal also has Thupparivaalan 2 which marks his directorial debut as well. The initial portions of the film were helmed by director Mysskin, but due to creative differences with Vishal, the acclaimed filmmaker walked out of the project. The remaining portion of Thupparivaalan 2 is expected to be shot when the pandemic situation gets better in the UK.
