Santhanam has various interesting projects in his line up and one among them is Biskoth, directed by R Kannan of Jayam Kondan and Ivan Thanthiran fame. This comedy entertainer is touted to feature Santhanam in different makeovers and we just got a glimpse of it. Director Kannan released a new picture on his social media page and in this picture, we see Santhanam dressed as a King and his makeover has garnered a lot of attention on social media. Apparently, there are a few portions in the film that happen in the 18th century and Santhanam will appear as King Rajasimha in those period portions.

Talking about this character and the period portions, director Kannan told Times Of India, “This sequence will occupy about 30 minutes of the run time, and will be the highlight of the film. Santhanam plays Rajasimha, an 18th-century king who ruled in the south. It’s a fictional character, but we thoroughly researched to get every aspect of that period right”.

The shooting for these portions happened in a grand set erected at Ramoji Rao Film City. The makers are planning to release the trailer of Biskoth very soon and director Kannan is sure that it will lift up the mood of the people who are mentally down with the ongoing pandemic. The first look poster which featured Santhanam in a retro look created a great buzz on the internet, showcasing the comedy actor in a new dimension. Produced by Kannan's Masala Pix, Biskoth features A1 fame Tara Alisha Berry as the female lead.

Yesteryear actress Sowcar Janaki will play a crucial role in this film and interestingly, Biskoth will be her 400th film as an actor. The film has music scored by Radhan and cinematography by Shanmuga Sundaram.

Apart from Biskoth, Santhanam also has Dikkiloona in which he appears in triple roles for the first time. We saw the makeover and look of all the three characters recently and it received a good response. Directed by debutant Karthik Yogi, Dikkiloona features Natpe Thunai fame Anagha and Shirin Kanchwala as the female leads and has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Produced by KJR Studios in association with Sinish’s Soldiers Factory, Dikkiloona features former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh in an important role and reportedly he plays the antagonist. With two interestingly contrasting projects, we can expect Santhanam to entertain the fans very soon. For now, check out director Kannan’s tweet about Biskoth below:
