Kutty Story is an upcoming Tamil anthology film that is scheduled to release in theatres on February 12, coming Friday. Four eminent filmmakers - Gautham Vasudev Menon, Venkat Prabhu, Vijay, and Nalan Kumarasamy have come together to do this anthology. The film has got good expectations among the film buffs. The trailer of Kutty Story which released a few days before, received a striking response from the fans and the trailer set the expectation bar high. Ahead of the film’s release, the makers have now released a new scene as a sneak peek and this one is surely going to garner wide attention among the fans. This sneak peek features Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Aruvi fame Aditi Balan and it is a scene from the Nalan Kumarasamy directorial.

The scene looks quite interesting as Vijay Sethupathi’s subtle mannerisms are lovable to watch. In this scene, we see Vijay Sethupathi attempting to talk to a girl over the phone secretly and the girl on the opposite side is Aditi Balan. The video has the potential to become popular among the masses due to Vijay Sethupathi’s striking screen presence and Aditi Balan’s comeback after 3 years. Kutty Story is a compilation of four short stories put together under the common theme of love and romance. Nalan Kumarasamy’s portion is said to be high on comedy in Nalan’s trademark style.

Ace director Gautham Vasudev Menon has directed one portion and he will also be seen as an actor in the said segment. Amala Paul, Andhaghaaram fame Vinoth Kishan, and Robo Shankar are also a part of the cast of Gautham Menon’s film. Talking about Venkat Prabhu’s directorial, it features Puppy fame Varun and Bigg Boss sensation Sakshi Agarwal in the lead roles and VP’s portion is said to have an interesting game angle to the story. Director Vijay who is known for his feel good dramas has directed one of the portions and his segment features Megha Akash and Amitash Pradhan as the leads.

The entire shooting of Kutty Story took place amidst the pandemic. Sillu Karuppatti was an anthology film that turned out to be a big success at the box office and let us see if Kutty Story manages to strike a chord with the audience.
