The upcoming fourth season of the smash hit Tamil reality TV show, Bigg Boss, is all set to begin airing from October 4, with the excitement among fans highly visible on social media. There have already been a couple of short promos, including a teaser that was released not long back and featured 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan as the host, who is returning once again for the fourth consecutive time. Scheduled to be telecast once again on Vijay TV, there have been numerous speculations regarding the contestants who will be participating on Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 among whom Shivani Narayanan, Ramya Pandian, Sanam Shetty, Rio Raj and several others have been a notable few. So far, Super Deluxe heroine Gayathrie Shankar, Bigil actress Amritha Aiyer, Kadaram Kondan actor Abi Hassan have denied their participation on the show.

Having said that, it has now been officially confirmed that the first contestant on Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 is none other than model turned actress Sanam Shetty. Having won the Miss South India title in 2016, she has starred in notable Tamil ventures like Ambuli, Katham Katham, Sadhuram 2, while also landing a role in Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu, including appearances in Malayalam and Kannada films. Sanam has been extending a helping hand by setting up a small social group to provide assistance to those suffering during the coronavirus pandemic crisis.

With Sanam Shetty now officially announced to be the first contestant on Bigg Boss Tamil season 4, the countdown for the reveal of the rest of the contestants is already on. We can expect more such announcements on the rest of the participants before the show begins tomorrow at 6PM or the entire roster to be unveiled live at the venue. There are massive expectations for Bigg Boss 4 just as was with the previous three seasons, all of which turned out to be staggering successes. There is already a huge talk on social media that the fourth season of Bigg Boss Tamil too will turn out to be a success for Vijay TV in terms of TRP ratings as the earlier editions did.
