It came as a big shock to fans when Bigg Boss Malayalam season 3 was suspended temporarily due to the rise of coronavirus cases and lockdown in Tamil Nadu. Being hosted by National Award-winning actor Mohanlal, the shooting of Bigg Boss Malayalam 3, which was taking place in Chennai, was called off after some of the team members reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
