There are rumours doing rounds that Ajith Kumar was supposed to do a film with late Malayalam director Sachy. It is speculated that Ajith Kumar liked Sachy’s recent film Ayyappanum Koshiyum and had even asked him to work on a script for him. It is also stated that Sachy was working on a script for Ajith which he was supposed to narrate in a month’s time. However, when we got in touch with Ajith Kumar’s manager, he denied the news saying no conversation took place between Ajith Kumar and Sachy. Like any South Indian director Sachy might have had the inhabitation to work with Thala which too we do not know. But it is said loud and clear that Ajith Kumar had not approached Sachy to work on a script. Few rumour mongers are trying to use the sympathy waves in their favour. That’s what this rumour is all for say our sources from the industry.

Malayalam screenwriter and director Sachy passed away on the 18th of June at a private hospital in Kerala after having suffered a cardiac arrest. When he was admitted to the hospital after suffering cardiac arrest, his brain had suffered damage. He was admitted to the critical care unit and was on ventilator support. Sachy had undergone a total hip replacement surgery just 10 days before his death. Reports suggest that Sachy was given medicines to maintain his blood pressure, however, he wasn't showing any signs of improvement and eventually lost the battle on June 18th. Sachy, a native of Kodungalloor which belongs to Thrissur district of Kerala, practised as a lawyer in Criminal Law and Constitutional Law for eight years in the High Court of Kerala. During his time at college, Sachy was active in his college film society and theatre, directing several plays. He started of his career in Malayalam Industry by collaborating with writer Sethunath. Their debut movie Chocolate was a success which led them to pair up for several movies. He has directed two films Anarkali and the recently released Ayyappanum Koshiyum which turned out to be a blockbuster hit. A director like Sachy working with Ajith Kumar would have worked wonders on screen unfortunately it couldn’t happen.
