Dubai Babu, starring Upendra in the lead role, also features Mumbai model Aryan Vaid in an important role. Although he�knows no�Kannada, this former Mr. India and Mr. International has set an example for all non-Kannada actors by�dubbing for the film.

Aryan Vaid is one of the most sought-after models in Mumbai, but he couldn’t taste the same success as an actor. Most of�his films were small budget and portrayed him as a sex icon. The actor’s�acting talent�has been overshadowed by his well-toned bare body acts. He made news recently for his relationship with model-actress Anupama Varma on the sets of the reality show Big Boss.

Dubai Babu is the third film from the Upendra-Shailendra Babu-Naganna team and they are hopeful of repeating their earlier successes. Nikita and Saloni are the heroines with Kumar Govind, Dwarakish, Surya Pallakki, Rajesh, Sunder Raj and Umesh in the supporting cast.� Sridhar of Mussanje Mathu fame is the music director while Anil Jhaveri from Mumbai is handling the camera.
