If reports are to be believed, Kiccha Sudeep's latest venture Maanikya's satellite rights has been sold for a whopping Rs 7 crores to a leading TV channel. The film which got released in more than 250 screens, for the first time in the history of Kannada cinema, also marks Sudeep's first venture being sold for such a huge amount. Maanikya, directed by Sudeep, also stars Crazy Star V. Ravi Chandran, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Ramya Krishnan and newcomer Ranya in lead roles. The film is the official remake of the hit Telugu film Mirchi, released in 2013.
