Dhanush is one of the most talented actors we have in Indian cinema right now and there are no doubts about it. He is one of the most distinguished actors in the recent times and he’s got a phenomenal fan base, as well. Having said that, Dhanush recently took to his Twitter space to share an emotional tweet on the 17th year release anniversary of Kadhal Kondein. The film released on this same day (July 4), 17 years before and it set the stage for both Dhanush and director Selvaraghavan. Kadhal Kondein gave the initial breakthrough for the brothers and they have come a long way together. Selvaraghavan is also one of the most celebrated filmmakers who is loved by the fans for his works in films like Kadhal Kondein, 7G Rainbow Colony, Pudhupettai, Mayakkam Enna, Aayirathil Oruvan and so on.

Dhanush shared a special design from Kadhal Kondein and shared that he is forever grateful and indebted to his brother Selvaraghavan for shaping up his acting skills in the initial stages. He also called the film a cult classic. It can be noted that Dhanush has told in many of his interviews that Selvaraghavan plays a very important role in bringing out the actor inside him and this latest tweet is a reflection of that. The fans have been delighted seeing this tweet. The duo are all set to team up once again for a new film which is expected to be announced in the next few months.

After completing his current commitments, Dhanush would be teaming up with his brother and director Selvaraghavan and the fans are already excitedly waiting for the project to take off. Post the lockdown, Dhanush will have the release of his next film, Jagame Thandhiram which is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. This International gangster film has got huge expectations among the fans and it is expected to be one of the major films that would bring back the audience to the theatres after the pandemic. The first single - ‘Rakita Rakita’ from the film is scheduled to release on July 28 for Dhanush’s birthday. Post Jagame Thandhiram, there is Mari Selvaraj’s Karnan which is expected to be a very important film to look out for.

Later, Dhanush will begin shooting for his untitled 43rd film (D43) with young filmmaker Karthick Naren. He is also committed to doing a film with Mundasupatti and Ratsasan fame director Ramkumar under the production of Sathya Jyothi Films. Dhanush has also signed a film with Sun Pictures which is touted to be directed by Mithran Jawahar of Uthamaputhiran and Kutty fame. Then, there is Atrangi Re, Dhanush’s third Hindi film, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan. An exciting lineup of projects indeed. For now, check out Dhanush’s tweet below:
