Vishal has become an uncle as his younger sister, Aishwarya gave birth to a baby girl, this morning. Both the mother and the newborn are said to be fine and doing in good health. An elated Vishal shared the happy news with his fans and well-wishers through a tweet which read, "Well wat more can I ask. Supa happy to become an uncle again. The princess is born today to my princess darling sister aishu. May god bless the new born girl and the couple. Inshaallah. God bless. 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏".

On the professional front, Vishal was last seen in Veeramae Vaagai Soodum which opened to mixed reviews from the critics and audience. Directed by Thu Pa Saravanan, the film is currently streaming on Zee 5 app. Vishal's next release in Tamil cinema will be Laththi, the action entertainer, directed by debutant A Vinoth Kumar. Laththi will feature Vishal playing the role of a police officer and he is said to have performed several high octane and risky action sequences.

Sunainaa plays the female lead in this film, marking his second outing with Vishal after Samar. With Laththi shoot nearing completion, Vishal will start shooting for his next, Mark Antony, which is helmed by Adhik Ravichandran of Trisha Illana Nayanthara fame. Mark Antony will feature SJ Suryah as the key antagonist, with music composed by GV Prakash. Produced by Vinod Kumar's Mini Studio, Mark Antony will be a pan Indian film that will be released in 5 different languages.
