Every decision ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth makes is a news and it is no different when it comes to developments surrounding his films.
Rajinikanth is at present working in Thalaivar 165 under Karthik Subbaraj’s direction being produced by Sun Pictures alongside a multi-star cast which includes names like Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha among others.

In the meantime, there have been reports doing the rounds stating Rajinikanth recently met with the hit commercial director K. S. Ravikumar for a film next after collaborating previously in films namely Muthu, Padayappa and Lingaa.
That said, our sources here at Galatta state Rajinikanth’s next after Thalaivar 165 will more or so be with none other than ace director A. R. Murugadoss.
His film with A. R. Murugadoss is expected to be his farewell venture after which the ‘Superstar’ will be devoting his time completely towards politics.
As for A. R. Murugadoss, he is focused on completing his ongoing film, Sarkar, with ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay, which has been announced for a Diwali release.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s next release will be the sci-fi action thriller, 2.0, under Shankar’s direction produced by Lyca Productions with music by A. R. Rahman alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson as his co-stars.
